I was born in England & moved to Perth when I was 8 years old. I am Indian, but my family has been in Kenya for 4 generations before my parents moved to the UK. Currently, my family lives all over the world!

Doctor

WHAT’S MADE YOU CHOOSE PODIATRY AS A CAREER?

I’ve always wanted to work in healthcare and podiatry looked the most interesting. After working in the industry for 4 years, I’m confident I’ve made the right choice!

WHAT IS YOUR SPECIAL INTEREST AREA WITHIN PODIATRY?

I love a bit of everything, but biomechanics and pain management have always interested me the most.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE WAY TO SPEND A DAY OFF?

Shopping and brunch with friends, followed by a movie in front of the couch with my partner.

YOU WIN THE LOTTERY! WHAT’S THE FIRST THING YOU DO?

Buy a house if I’m being sensible, blow it all on a fabulous holiday if I’m being impulsive!

Ricky Gervais because he’s my favourite comedian and I think I’d be in stitches all night!

WHAT’S A FUN FACT THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I love music & dancing! I used to play the flute and have recently taken it up again. I love all forms of dancing, from salsa to Bollywood and Indian classical, to dancing in my bedroom on the weekend! Whether or not I’m good at it is a totally different question!!!
