WHAT’S MADE YOU CHOOSE PODIATRY AS A CAREER?

I’ve always had an interest in health care and knew I wanted to pursue a career that would allow me to help people daily. A few members of my family have diabetes, and I’ve seen firsthand how important podiatrists are as part of their management team. I also enjoy being hands-on and love creating patient-centred treatment plans tailored to individual needs

WHAT IS YOUR SPECIAL INTEREST AREA WITHIN PODIATRY?

Throughout my career in podiatry so far, I have been lucky enough to see a variety of different conditions. However, I particularly enjoy treating heel pain, managing ingrown toenails, and providing routine nail care.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE WAY TO SPEND A DAY OFF?

I love starting the day with reformer Pilates, then going for a walk to a café for some breakfast, followed by playing tennis and doing some cooking. If I have time, I also enjoy doing something arts and crafty to unwind and get creative.
